EquityBCDC is proud to announce the launch of the first five Equity Afya clinics, an innovative initiative designed to transform the medical landscape in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Initially located in Kinshasa in the communes Bandal, Kingabwa, Kintambo, Macampagne and Pigeon, these clinics represent an important step towards improving access to quality medical care for all Congolese.
Equity Afya Clinics are distinguished by their inclusive financing model, designed to encourage medical entrepreneurship. Thanks to a financing program specially developed by EquityBCDC, local healthcare professionals can establish and develop their own clinics under the Equity Afya franchise. These clinics offer a full range of medical services at affordable prices. Future clinics will be located in underserved areas, providing an opportunity bring local healthcare to thousands of Congolese. "Our aim is to make healthcare accessible to all Congolese, whatever their income
level," said Willy Mulamba, Managing Director of EquityBCDC.
Equity Afya Clinics will expand into other communes and provinces, with more than 30 clinics across the country by 2025. This effort aims to reach a growing number of Congolese, helping to improve the well-being of the population throughout the country.
