EquityBCDC announces the launch of the Cybersource payment platform through VISA. CyberSource is a payment gateway that provides payment and fraud management services to online, small, medium and large businesses. With this new service, EquityBCDC strengthens its position as a reference digital bank in the DRC and abroad.
The migration to Cybersource is an opportunity for the bank to offer payments through several channels, such as online payment and in-store withdrawal (Click & Collect), or unique experiences between mobile commerce, online, kiosk, while reducing the risk of fraud. This platform will allow SMEs and multinationals to reach customers and target audiences in larger geographic areas but also to increase their revenues through the capabilities and cutting-edge solutions provided by Visa.
Payment gateways facilitate communication between banks and service providers through software and servers that send transaction information to acquiring banks and responses to issuing banks, such as approving or refusing a transaction.
